Secret of the Labyrinths

Deep underground, there is a highly advanced community thriving since ancient times. They possess technology unmatched by the outside world. You received a honour of being invited there, and you get to know it... However, something feels wrong.

Secret of the Labyrinths is a solo journalling horror game by Garbata Team. In this game, you will create a story as you play. To play, you need a pack of 36 cards (6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K, A in 4 suits), two six-sided dice, pen and paper.

This is a preliminary (‘ashcan’) version, I (=Dmy) intend to tidy it up and translate it into Belarusian and other languages later. I just wanted to have something ready before the game jam ends.

The setting is inspired by Vacłaŭ Łastoŭski’s Labirynty, while the mechanics are loosely based on H. Moon’s For Truth’s Sake, with significant departures from both sources.
